About this project

A greenhouse for medicinal cannabis in Australia. This greenhouse was relatively small with a surface area of 3360m2. Nevertheless this greenhouse has been equipped with the newest technologies and techniques to ensure a optimal result. Irrigation is done by a drip system on roller tables. To realise this Avant Projects has supplied the following:

Mixing tank units, to mix the desired irrigation water.
UV unit’s, to desinfect the returning drain water and the fresh water supply.
A/B tanks, to be able to prepare batches of the desired fertilizers.
Underground tanks, to store the returning drain water.
Valvesets, to be able to select wich recipe and irrigation zone to use.
Pipe work and installation materials.

To realize this project we build irrigation units, delivered pipe work and an extensive drawing package from multiple CAD and BIM software packages to be able to give an as clear as possible picture for the construction. All of our technical solutions are made to preference of the client. Our client wished to be able to have three different recipes for his irrigation water. Thats why we engineered our mixing tank unit to have three separate exits with each its own automatically controlled valve.
